My main role involved operating a PI Cougar Bridge Saw to cut and lay out all company jobs, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. I was also responsible for the maintenance and repair of the saw, while handling loading and unloading deliveries, organizing showroom displays, and managing slab inventory to keep operations running smoothly. As the primary forklift operator, I managed material movement safely and efficiently. Additionally, I performed various fabrication tasks, including polishing backsplashes, creating sink cutouts, repairing chips and breaks, face-polishing, leathering, honing, core-holing, seaming, and other essential finishing activities to meet high-quality standards.

When needed, I also handled client relations by traveling out of state to meet with clients and personally delivering completed products. I managed a network of 12 contracted mental health counselors located out-of-state, while also overseeing the daily operations and support for 15 on-site mental health counselors. In addition to these responsibilities, I developed and led the administrative support team, ensuring efficient workflows and a cohesive approach to client care. I played a key role in establishing care for new clients, coordinating their intake, and assigning them to counselors best suited to meet their needs. This role allowed me to contribute to a streamlined, supportive environment for both clients and mental health professionals, all while working remotely.

During my apprenticeship, I progressed from Apprentice to Journeyman, gaining comprehensive training in a variety of skills essential to construction and property management. My hands-on experience included sandblasting, stained glass work, small machining, rough framing, metal siding, window installation, concrete work, wood cutting, masonry, painting, and operating heavy equipment such as skid-steers and tractors. I also developed expertise in siding, roofing, car mechanics, and other related trades. This training took me to numerous sites across Wisconsin and Minnesota, where I applied my skills in real-world settings. A highlight of my apprenticeship was building an entire two-story house, which reinforced my knowledge of construction from the ground up and enhanced my practical problem-solving abilities.

My responsibilities included vehicle maintenance, cleaning, installation of new parts, and ensuring the detail shop remained in operational order. I worked with a variety of high-end vehicle makes such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volvo, Corvette, Land Rover, and others. Despite being an outside hire with no prior experience in the field, I quickly adapted and delivered high-quality work. My attention to detail and dedication to the job led to positive feedback from my team, and they were sorry to see me move on from the position.

My duties spanned the entire production process, from planting with meticulous care to fertilizing, watering, and pest control. I also played an integral role in harvesting and applying general plant knowledge to ensure the highest quality crops. The company has received government development grants to promote the organic industry in the United States. Additionally, its pumpkin seed oil was honored with the Cooking Light Magazine 2010 Taste Test Award, a testament to the product’s exceptional quality.
